Security video has captured the moment two utes collided at an Adelaide intersection, flipping one of them on its side, next to the scene of another crash.

The incident unfolded just metres from where a car careened into a post office at Flinders Park just 30 minutes earlier.

The 68-year-old driver was pulled from his car after the first crash and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The front window and wall of the post office were damaged by the collision.

As emergency services worked at the scene of the crash, an Isuzu Ute and Ford Ranger collided nearby, sending one onto its side.

The drivers and passengers of both vehicles escaped injury.

The driver of the Ford Ranger, a 24-year-old man, was issued an on-the-spot fine.

Both of the utes were towed away from the scene.
