A man has been charged with supplying "large quantities" of drugs on the dark web since 2018 in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
NSW Police arrested the 37-year-old after they allegedly found him packaging the illicit drugs in Bondi Junction about 1.30pm yesterday.
Detectives allege he was supplying cocaine, methylamphetamine and MDMA in exchange for cryptocurrency after also searching a home in Vaucluse.

In addition to the drugs, police also allegedly found computers, along with $30,000 and $270,000 worth of various cryptocurrencies.
Detective Superintendent Matthew Craft said traditional crimes were advancing into the digital world and dark web marketplaces could represent new platforms for criminal activities.
"Your anonymity online, particularly when you use dark web marketplaces, is no longer assured as a consequence of yesterday's operational activity," Craft said.

The man was allegedly preparing the drugs for the post when police conducted the search warrant.
"He was shocked about the fact that police were present and we don't believe he was even aware law enforcement had an interest in his activities at the time."

Craft did not reveal the platforms the man was using so it didn't allow more people to pursue them.

He was charged with 31 offences including supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime and 16 counts of supply prohibited drug, indictable and commercial quantity.
