'Serious concerns' for missing 90-year-old who left nursing home at 4.30am



Police are appealing for help to find a missing 90-year-old man who has dementia after he disappeared from a western Sydney nursing home at 4.30am today.

John Master-Brown was seen leaving an aged care facility in Northumberland Road, Auburn, in the early hours of this morning.

When he did not return and couldn't be located, he was reported missing and a search to find him commenced.

Master-Brown is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 177cm tall with a white beard and white hair which is normally tied in a ponytail.

He was last seen wearing a light grey jacket, black track pants and black sneakers.

He is known to frequent the Haberfield and Annandale areas.

Police say that Master-Brown has dementia and may appear disorientated. 

They have serious concerns for his welfare.
