Australian Federal Police Commissioner Reece Kershaw says $500 million in criminal assets have been seized and restrained in the last three years.

In an exclusive interview with Sky News Australia, he spoke of the legislative challenges faced when dealing with organised crime, along with members of the Five Eyes Law Enforcement Group (FELEG).

“Organised crime exists for profit, and they do go to safe havens where the legislation is different,” he told Sky News Australia.

“We target criminality first, no matter where you are.”
