One Western Australian resident is waking up this morning as an instant multi-millionaire.
A single player took out the entirety of last night's entire Powerball jackpot, instantly earning them a grand total of $40 million.
The only details known about the winning ticket is that it was bought in the state of WA.

Lotterywest CEO Ralph Addis said the win could benefit the entire state.
"We're absolutely delighted to have yet another Western Australian winning ticket and our first Division One Powerball win for the year," he said.
"To average around two Division One wins per week this year is a great result for our State and players.
"This Powerball jackpot run alone has seen more than $6.4 million raised for the Western Australian community through the Lotterywest grants program.

"When WA players win, the entire WA community benefits."
Last night's winning numbers in draw 1398 were 18, 14, 13, 16, 21, 19, 29 and the Powerball was 18.
According to the Lott, the odds of winning division one, including seven winning numbers and the Powerball, are more than 134 million to one.
