A rodeo rider was killed last night during a New Year's Eve event at Warwick in Queensland.
The 25-year-old was competing in the "Novice Bull Ride" at the Warwick Show.
He suffered critical chest injuries after he fell off a bull and was struck by the animal.

Paramedics rushed to the scene but the young man could not be saved.
In a statement released on Facebook, the Warwick Show & Rodeo Society Inc said it wished to extend its condolences to the family and friends of the rodeo rider.
"In an effort to support the family, the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society will be "Passing the Hat Around" today at our National Rodeo Association Ltd. Junior Rodeo to assist in any way we can financially for the family with funeral arrangements, and where possible, any long term care for the family," the statement said.
"Please understand that this is a very difficult time for the family, the Society, the National Rodeo Association, and his fellow competitors, so we request that the privacy of the family is upheld at this difficult time."
