Melbourne's east rattled by 2.3 magnitude earthquake

Melbourne's east has been rattled by a 2.3 magnitude earthquake this morning.

The tremors struck around Boronia and Ferntree Gully just after 11am, with a depth of about 4km.

More than 100 residents reported feeling the quake, according to Geoscience Australia.
