Man's body found in floodwaters in South Australia

The body of a missing man has been found in floodwaters in South Australia.

Police were told an elderly man went missing at Loxton North just after 1.30pm on Monday.

Emergency services searched until last light and restarted their search this morning.

Police divers retrieved the body of a 78-year-old local man in flood plains near the river just before 8.30am on Tuesday.

Officers said there are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
