Man struck by lightning near Brisbane
A man has been rushed to hospital after being struck by lightning near Brisbane.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said a man is in a critical condition after he was reportedly struck by lightning near Southpine road at Brendale, in Moreton Bay, north of Brisbane.
He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

Severe thunderstorms bringing heavy rain, large hailstones and damaging winds are bearing down on south-east Queensland.
It comes as residents of Burketown in northwest Queensland experience major flooding on the Gregory River.
