A 20-year-old man has died in a two car crash on the Princes Highway in Sydney's inner west overnight.
Patrolling officers came across the crash on the highway near Hart Street at Tempe about 11.25pm yesterday.
NSW Police said they gave first aid to the young adult, who was driving a Mazda 3, before NSW Ambulance arrived.
Paramedics continued to give the man first aid but he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the Toyota Yaris, a 54-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
