Low-budget sausages recalled after plastic found

Sausages sold in West Australian Woolworths stores has been recalled by Food Standards Australia and New Zealand.

The 24-pack of Market Value Thin Beef Sausages (1.8Kg) has been found to contain plastic.

"Food products containing hard plastic may cause illness/injury if consumed," Food Safety warned.

The products in question have a best before date of March 10, 2023.

Customers are advised to not eat the sausages, and return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
