The owner of a Melbourne newsagency will spend thousands of dollars repairing his shopfront after being targeted by a group of thieves.
Pakenham newsagency owner Sunny Singh was left feeling frustrated after the group armed with a hammer smashed their way into his business overnight.
The cost to repair the damage will be about $7000 out of Singh's pocket.

CCTV captured the attack, which lasted less than two minutes, with the thieves activating a fog cannon in the store.
"My smoke alarm, it helped me a lot," Singh told 9News.
"There is glass everywhere. It's not good."

The small business owner has worked in the industry for 10 years and said it's been the fourth time he has been targeted.
"Business owners, nowdays after COVID-19, we are not making any money. Please don't do this," Singh said.
Police are investigating and no arrests have been made.
