An 85-year-old man has died in hospital after he was hit by a car in Melbourne's south-east earlier this month.
Police say the man was walking across the Princes Highway at a set of traffic lights when he was struck by a car travelling west on Chandler Road in Noble Park.
The Noble Park man sustained life-threatening-injuries and was transported to hospital but died last night.

The driver of the silver Mazda sedan stopped at the scene immediately after the collision.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
