A Brisbane taxi driver is in hospital after allegedly being assaulted in a popular nightlife district.
The driver was allegedly attacked by a group in Fortitude Valley around 1am this morning.
The group then fled the scene.

A man is helping officers with their inquiries.
Queensland Police have launched an investigation into the alleged attack.
