Lucky for you, The Penrith Press had locals vote for their favourite hairdressers so you can get that fresh new cut with peace of mind and Insignia Hair and Day Spa took out of the 2021 crown. The team at the South Penrith store was ecstatic to hear about the title win.“We were so excited to hear that we’d been voted best hairdresser for 2021. We heard it on Facebook but when we found out from our manager, we legit squealed with excitement,” owner Olivia Mangold said.“We are so appreciative to our community that voted for us,” she said.Ms Mangold has been in the industry for 14 years and has owned Insignia for almost three years, so clients are definitely leaving their luscious locks in experienced hands.“Our most popular service would have to be balayages. We also specialise in blondes and extensions but we are absolutely catered to everybody,” Ms Mangold said. The salon offers an array of other services so it is a one-stop shop for beauty needs.“We have injectables, manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, day spa experiences, massages, hair, beauty and wax,” .”It is not just the treatments that keep people coming back but the stellar rapport, according to Ms Mangold.“We are known for excellent customer service. Clients love how accommodating we are and keeping up a relaxing vibe in the salon,” she said.If you are wondering how often you should pop in for a refresher, we made sure to ask the experts while we were there. “It all depends on your service but the optimal time is six weeks for appointments – that’s our average re-booking time for most services including eyebrows, waxing, manicures, pedicures, hair services and facials,” Ms Mangold said. The salon intends to keep up the good work and reclaim its crown next year.“We just want to thank our local community for your ongoing support and we strive to work hard every day to continue to be the number one salon in Penrith and Blue Mountains,” Ms Mangold said.
