Appeal after boy grabbed by stranger in Sydney toilet block

Police are investigating after a young boy was grabbed by a stranger at a toilet block in Sydney's west.

The 10-year-old boy at a soccer oval in Greenfield Park on Tuesday around 6.30pm when an unknown man walked up behind him.

The man grabbed him but the boy managed to free himself and run away.

"He told his mother about the reported incident who, in turn, contacted police," police said.

Anyone with dashcam footage of the area on Arrowhead Road in Greenfield Park between 4.30pm and 7pm on May 9 is urged to contact police.
