The upcoming federal election will be “very difficult” for the Prime Minister and Coalition to win, says former Speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop.
“But there is a pathway through,” Ms Bishop told Sky News Australia.
“It does mean that he (Scott Morrison) has to win seats, particularly in New South Wales, to make up for the already lost seat of Sterling in Western Australia which has transferred to Victoria.
“You’ve got to look at the swing seats of New South Wales, hold Queensland.”
“There are at least five seats in New South Wales … which are all seats that are going to be concentrated on.”
